Kimberly Martin

Ms. Kimberly is originally from California but moved to Nevada to further her education. She attended University of Nevada, Reno, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. She enjoys music, the outdoors, and the preforming arts. During her off time you’ll find her going to the gym, hiking, or taking her dog out to the park. Kim possesses a background in working in a laboratory setting and educating on health and wellness. Not only does she educate but she is an advocate for living a healthy and happy lifestyle.

Kim is the Health Information Specialist at Nevada Public Health Foundation (NPHF). Her purpose is to create awareness about lead poisoning and prevention. Kim, as the Health Information Specialist of NPHF working on the Nevada Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (NvCLPPP) is multilingual in English, Tagalog, and Spanish. This might increase opportunities to spread awareness with parents and guardians whose children may be at risk for lead exposure and poisoning as she creates material based on her audience.
